Mr. Mueller has over 400 productions to his credit, from Off-Broadway to Regional Houses, National/International Tours/Venues including theaters in Thailand, Alaska, Paris and places in-between. In 1996 he co-founded Theater Mitu, where he served as Producer and Designer for eleven seasons during which they produced over 25 theatrical works. More recently he produced The African Children’s Choir 2007-2008 National Tour: Journey of Hope. He has designed for the Women’s Project, Perseverance Theatre (Alaska), Lincoln Center, Mark Taper, New York Musical Theatre Festival, Russian National Ballet, Patravadi Theatre (Thailand), Edinburgh Festival, Theatre La Lune (France). After working on over 400 productions, he has developed a strong style which has a sharpness and clarity that comes from his personal blend of a Non-Western synthesis of spatial separation, rule systems, and iconography for the stage.
Mr. Mueller is a Broadway Photographer, specializing in capturing the “spirit” of live productions & events.  His work focuses on capturing images live that have exceptional quality and detail, usually reserved for a $100K photo shoot in a studio.  Mr. Mueller’s heavy background in lighting design gives him a unique ability to capture photographs, traditional photographers cannot achieve.  His photographs pull in a viewer into the production and give them the feeling that they are sitting in the theater watching it live.

Mr. Mueller’s photography has been published worldwide. This includes two feature length films, television pilots, and over 15 years of Theatrical Production Shots including Broadway Bares, a yearly New York benefit for Equity Fights AIDS/Broadway Cares. His photographs have been featured in newspapers and magazines around the world as well as in the book “Broadway Bares: Backstage Pass”. He has photographed such events as The Madonna - Gucci Gala at the United Nations; Glamour Magazine - Women of the Year at the Avery Fisher Hall - Lincoln Center; and the MTV Video Music Awards at Radio City Music Hall.
